Before a 老师 Candidate assumes major responsibility for 教学 a class, they should observe and participate in the classroom (both yours and other teachers’). 在这个角色中发挥作用, they must have specific items in mind to look for during observations of the regular teacher and the pupils.
The Cooperating 老师 assists in the observation phase by:
在为期16周的实习期间, Cooperating 老师s are responsible for a minimum of six formal written observations for their 老师 Candidate. An 8-week placement requires three formal written observations.
These observations should be shared with the 老师 Candidate and their University Supervisor. 除了, each Cooperating 老师 must complete a written final evaluation of their 老师 Candidate.
The 老师 Candidate should assume some responsibility immediately. 参与 is intended to help the 老师 Candidate gain confidence. Possibilities for participating include: giving assignments; reading a story or poem; assisting with supervision of students; sharing in lesson planning; and sharing special talents or experiences.
To host a 老师 Candidate for student 教学, Cooperating 老师s must:

Cooperating 老师s are given stipends for hosting 老师 Candidates. 根据明尼苏达州的规定, these stipends are $75 for hosting an 8-week student 教学 experience and $150 for hosting a 16-week student 教学 experience.
Cooperating teachers should complete stipend forms with the 临床经验办公室. This paperwork will be mailed to you for signature.
Often, the formal written and signed agreement between the school district and St. 云州 requires these stipends to go into a district pool of professional development funds. Sometimes districts will redistribute stipends directly to the teachers, 在某些情况下, the OCE sends stipends directly to the Cooperating 老师. Contact your district Human Resources office to find out more specific information.
